Stevens 11th in Brownstown run
After nearly a month off, due in large part to multiple rainouts, Tyler Stevens finally returned to the track on Saturday with the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series at Brownstown (Indiana) Speedway.
A $10,000 winner’s share was up for grabs at the quarter-mile Hoosier State speed plant in the 20th annual Hall of Fame Classic, an event that drew 41 entries.
Stevens steered his James A. Rogers Excavating No. 2 Super Late Model to a fourth-place finish in his heat race, starting him 16th in the 50-lap feature. He climbed five positions in the main event, taking home an 11th-place result.
